You may always refuse to supply personal information, except that it may prevent you from engaging in certain activities in some limited circumstances, for instance, attending an in-person event where your contact details are required for access to the venue.

We automatically register individual asset managers listed on our membership application to our website, so they may access the webinar recordings and our investor portal.
personalize your experience
We may use your personal information to inform you of our events that may be of interest and relevance to you.
improve our Site and services
We may use the personal information you provide, including your feedback about the Site and/or our services, to address your needs and those of other Site users more efficiently and effectively. We may use personal information in the aggregate (yours and other Site users’) to understand how our users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
maintain a register of the attendees to EMIA-hosted/co-hosted webinars and events
We may use your personal information to create an event attendee list and/or a name badge for you for an event, or to record your dietary preferences.

When we may share your personal information
We may share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers whom we engage to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information (not linked to any personal information) regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above (See “How we may use your personal information”).

We maintain appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of the personal information we collect. We also limit access to your personal information to our employees, volunteers, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions and are also required to keep your personal information confidential and secure.
Retaining your personal information
We will only retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. If you would like us to delete your personal information from EMIA’s system, please contact EMIA using the details under “Contacting us” below.

You may find advertising or other content on our Site that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site.
