David is a senior finance veteran with over 30 years of experience in fixed income, equities, and derivatives. He is Co-Chair of the Enhanced Labeled Bonds Campaign at the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance, where he is leading the outreach for asset managers.
David is the founder and managing partner of TriFi Capital Solutions, LLC, an advisory firm focused on delivering innovative funding solutions to emerging markets issuers.
Until 2019, David was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank. His most recent position was Global Head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income Sales, in which he coordinated global client coverage, and developed and implemented a strategic plan for each regional client base. David’s responsibilities included the coverage of all institutional clients in the US, Europe, Latin America, and the CEEMEA region. David directed distribution of all emerging markets fixed income products including Sovereign and Corporate Bonds, Interest Rate Products, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, and Structured Credit.
At Deutsche Bank, David served on the ICG Executive Committee, the governing body responsible for the global client coverage in fixed income and equities. In addition, he was a member of the Emerging Markets Global Management Committee, the Emerging Markets Risk Committee, and the North American Sales Management Committee.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, David was a Managing Director at Bankers Trust, and Head of Emerging Markets Sales in the US. Before working at Bankers Trust, David was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where he was the Head of Equity Derivatives Sales.
David was one of the original members of the Duke University Financial Economics Steering Committee. He has also been a long time Board Member of the CityKids Foundation, a youth organization in Manhattan, and the Vice President of the 99/101 Warren Street Condominium.
David received his AB degree from Duke University where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors.
