The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) actively sought investor input on the subject of climate risk disclosures during its open “request for comment” period. Investors received important updates regarding: (a) the nature of the SEC’s request, (b) available emissions data and tools for analyzing the O&G industry, and (c) recommendations for investor advocacy on climate disclosures.
