EMIA ESG Initiative hosted David Nicholls of East Capital’s Moscow office, to discuss “Taming the Bear – 20 Years of Active Ownership in Russia.”

David advises on East Capital’s Russia strategies, with a particular emphasis on climate change integration and engagement. He is Chair of the IIGCC working group on Russia and co-lead investor for two Climate Action 100+ engagements. David previously advised local and international energy companies on large projects in Russia and CIS. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Russian corporate governance association API.

The event was moderated by Fergus McCormick, Director of Sovereign Research, Emerging Markets Investors Alliance.
