In October 2022, Uruguay successfully issued sovereign sustainable-linked bonds (SSLB) consistent with EMIA’s Enhanced Labeled Bond Principles.

The Uruguayan experience opens the opportunity to continue enhancing transparency and accountability on SSLBs, allowing the advancement of sustainability.
