The Emerging Markets Investors Alliance’s 2024 Dr. Mark Mobius Lecture, highlighting Thought Leadership in Responsible Investing took place virtually, allowing for global audience participation.

The theme was governance and featured a moderated discussion with two leading voices from finance and governance:

Dr. Mark Mobius, Chairman of Mobius Emerging Opportunities Fund

• Synonymous with emerging and frontier markets investing, Dr. Mobius has a reputation as one of the most successful and influential money managers.
• Dr. Mobius spent more than three decades at Franklin Templeton Investments, most recently as Executive Chairman of the Templeton Emerging Markets Group.

 Dr. Mo Ibrahim, Founder and Chair of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation

• Following a distinguished entrepreneurial career in mobile communications. Dr. Ibrahim established the Mo Ibrahim Foundation in 2006 to support good governance and exceptional leadership on the African continent.

• Dr Ibrahim is also Founding Chairman of Satya Capital Limited, a private investment firm primarily focussed on Africa.
