EMIA hosted Professor Evan Fraser, Director, Arrell Food Institute at Canada’s University of Guelph to discuss “Barriers to Scaling Up New Protein Technologies.”

Demand for plant-based and alternative protein forms is growing strongly. Professor Fraser quantified this growth and elaborated on some of the challenges that are likely to be experienced as supply chains evolve and production facilities are built to meet this growing demand.
